Bite & Mup

When B wants to have some of what you are eating, he will sidle up next to you and say "Bite" or "Bite, Please" until you give him some of what you have. I remember at the same age, A would say, "Have some? It's delicious." to get some of your food.

Also, when he wants to get up out of his crib or he wants you to pick him up, he will say, "Mup! Mup!", which is a bastardization of Come up.

Juice and Cheese

When B gets up in the morning, EVERY morning, he goes to the fridge and asks for juice or sometimes he says "drink". The second thing he always asks for is cheese. So he starts his day out everyday with a drink and cheese. He is just like daddy!!

Two funnies

We ate dinner out at Charlie Browns tonight and the waiters sang "Happy Birthday" to someone at the table next to us. They didn't have the name of the person, so they just sang "Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday to you." A turned to us and asked, "Is her name Happy Birthday?" LOL.

Also, we didn't realize this, but A can count to 100. We are going to get it on video tomorrow. I will try to post it!

Singing Dancing B

On Wednesday, we went to dance like usual. A goes into class by herself and B and I wait for her to get out (1 hour class). There are stairs there and sometimes B escapes up them. And boy can he move quickly. There are three classrooms upstairs and by the time I got up there, I wasn't sure what classroom he had wandered into. I went into the other two and was pointed to the third classroom. I found him in the middle of a huge room of teenage ballerinas in their pointe shoes and the owner of the dance school singing the "eensy weensy spider" and dancing for them. I quickly snatched him up and ran downstairs mortified!

Praise for A

A had her last science class on Wednesday. Her teachers were sad to see her go, but the schedule was killing us. The head teacher took me aside and said that she just wanted to tell me how bright A was and that they hoped that she gets into their pre-school next year (we are on the waiting list for AM there) because she would be an asset to them! High praise indeed!

Reading

My son B has made me read about 50 books already today. I am trying hard to clean my living and dining rooms and he keeps wanting to be read to. We try to never turn them down for reading, so it is taking up alot of my time this morning!!

I wish A was here (she is at pre-school) because I could make her read him some books!

4 is a challenging age....

A is at the age where she wants to be soooo independent and so adult, but she is still so little. We have had alot of tantrums today and it stems from too much activity and too little sleep. She is so stubborn! I hope that this is just a phase.

On the other hand, our little challenging boy has been such a pleasure today. He is growing out of the naughty for naughtiness sake phase and is starting to want to please us. He loves his books so much and spends so much time reading and asking us to read to him.

One of his favorite activities lately is he gets his Thomas book out that plays music and a recorder and plays along with the music and then claps and yells yay when the music is done.

Pictures as promised

Funny Funny B

When B woke up this morning, he toddled into the kitchen and asked for cheese (a normal morning request from him). I obligingly gave him his cheese and when I handed it to him, I asked him, "What do you say?" trying to prompt a "thank you" from him and he looked at the cheese and looked at me and said "Drink". C burst out laughing. What a cheeky boy.

Funny aside. Last weekend we had A's birthday party... I will post pictures later. One of the moms told me that when they RSVP'd and heard our message (C's voice is on it), they didn't know my husband was English and thought that we had a butler.

Requisite Pictures

A:

She is a total clone of me, so if you can imagine her older and heavier and with darker hair, that is me.

B:

He is a clone of C, so if you can imagine him older and with less hair, that is him.

I will eventually post pics of us when we take ones that we like LOL.

A new beginning

I am starting this blog in the hopes that I will document the day to day fun of my bunnies in the hopes of remembering everything. I find as time goes on that I forget the day-to-day funnies of my bunnies.

Introducing the cast of bunnies:

My daughter A (or baby bunny) Just turned 4. Incredible, bossy, independent, precocious, caring
My son B (or little bunny): 21 months. Sweet, adventurous, busy, a little naughty LOL.
My husband C (or big bunny): British, wonderful, caring, often forgetful

And me. I am Heidi and I am a mommy and wife and I also work part-time. My job will never be mentioned on this blog. I don't want to be dooced. Suffice it to say that I love my job and love the people who I work with.
